SUD Accidental and Total and Permanent Disability Benefit Rider
142B005V01 - Accidental Death and Total & Permanent Disability Benefit Rider is an add-on benefit to the base coverage that is provided to the life assured, on paying extra premium. It is an optional benefit.
This rider benefit is attached to the base policy and becomes payable when the policy holder becomes totally and permanently disable or death occurs due to accident.
01.Benefits
- The maximum rider benefit amount under a policy is restricted to the basic sum assured of the policy subject to the condition that the total premium for all riders put together that are attached to the base policy shall not exceed 30% of premium for base plan. Another restriction placed on rider benefit is that the total sum assured for any individual under Accidental Death and Total & Permanent Disability benefit rider under all policies belonging to that individual put together, should not exceed Rs.50 Lakhs.
