SUD Life Fortune Plus is a non-linked, participating savings plan that combines protection with wealth creation. It offers a guaranteed maturity benefit, potential bonuses, and the flexibility to choose how you want your benefits, whether as a lump sum for future goals or as regular income.
SUD Life Fortune Plus gives you the flexibility to shape your savings. If you choose Goal Plus or Child Plus, you receive a lump-sum amount at maturity to meet your long-term goals. With Retire Plus, the plan provides regular income during the policy term, along with a guaranteed maturity amount at the end. No matter which option you select, life cover continues throughout the term to protect your family.
You start by selecting the plan variant, the premium payment term of 7, 10 or 12 years, and the policy term which can range from 15 to 40 years depending on the plan option you opt for. You also decide the premium amount and how often you wish to pay it, which can be monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually.
Once the policy begins, life insurance coverage is active for the entire policy term. This ensures that your family receives financial protection through the death benefit, regardless of the plan variant you have chosen.
At the end of the policy term, you receive the Guaranteed Payout at Maturity (Sum Assured at Maturity). This forms the foundation of the plan and gives you the certainty of a fixed amount at maturity, with the potential for additional bonuses.
In addition to the maturity payout, the Retire Plus option offers a survival benefit in the form of regular guaranteed income during the policy term. This income flow may be further enhanced with cash bonuses if declared, making it especially useful for retirement planning.
A Simple Reversionary Bonus, if declared, starts accruing from the 6th policy year onwards and becomes guaranteed once added. The Retire Plus option may also provide a cash bonus every year after the premium payment term. A Terminal Bonus may also be declared at maturity, on death, or on surrender.
You have a grace period to pay premiums; the policy continues on reduced paid-up terms if you cannot pay in full, and surrender value is available if you exit early. You can also avail a loan against your policy, and for added value, higher benefits are provided on online purchase or when you pay higher premiums.

The Goal Plus option under SUD Life Fortune Plus is designed for long-term savings. At maturity, it pays you the Guaranteed Payout at Maturity (SAM) along with any Simple Reversionary Bonus and Terminal Bonus, if declared. In the event the insured happens to pass away during the policy term, your family receives the Sum Assured on Death along with accrued bonuses, ensuring financial security.

The Child Plus option under SUD Life Fortune Plus helps you build savings to secure your child’s future against the rising costs. If the life assured passes away during the term, the Sum Assured on Death is paid immediately and all future premiums are waived. The policy continues, and at maturity the Guaranteed Payout at Maturity (SAM) plus bonuses, if declared, are paid to the child.

The Retire Plus option under SUD Life Fortune Plus is designed for retirement savings with regular income. After you finish paying all your premiums, the plan provides a steady Guaranteed Income starting from the 4th year after the end of the premium payment term until the end of the policy term. A cash bonus may also be added each year, if declared. At maturity, you receive the Guaranteed Payout at Maturity (SAM) and any Terminal Bonus declared. In case of death, the Sum Assured on Death is paid along with the income and bonuses due for that year.

Here are the benefits that you get from the plan:
If something happens to you during the policy term, your family gets the death benefit linked to your chosen option. It will always be more than the minimum guaranteed value. In the Child Plus option, premiums stop, but the plan continues, so your child still gets the maturity payout.

At the end of the policy term, you’ll receive the guaranteed maturity amount as a survival benefit. In Goal Plus and Child Plus, bonuses (if declared) are added on top. Retire Plus also gives out a terminal bonus, if declared.

Bonuses may start building from the 6th policy year in Goal Plus and Child Plus. A terminal bonus can come in at maturity, death, or surrender. Retire Plus may also give you a cash bonus during the income years. These bonuses depend on company performance and are not guaranteed.

With Retire Plus, once you’ve finished paying premiums, the plan begins paying you a yearly income starting from the 4th year after your last premium paid. This continues till the policy ends, and if declared, a cash bonus may be added too.

Paying higher premiums or buying online gives you more. In Goal Plus and Child Plus, that means a bigger maturity payout, while in Retire Plus, it translates into higher yearly income.
