Four fund options are available. Blue-chip Equity Fund (SFIN: ULIF 019 11/12/13 SUD-LI-EQ2 142) invests 70–100% in equity, preference shares and convertible debentures, 0% in debt instruments and up to 30% in money market instruments, mutual funds and fixed deposits — High risk. Growth Plus Fund (SFIN: ULIF 023 11/12/13 SUD-LI-GR2 142) invests 40–100% in equity, up to 60% in debt and up to 30% in money market instruments, mutual funds and fixed deposits — Medium to High risk. Balanced Plus Fund (SFIN: ULIF 024 11/12/13 SUD-LI-BL2 142) invests up to 60% in equity, 40–100% in debt and up to 30% in money market instruments, mutual funds and fixed deposits — Low to Medium risk. Income Fund (SFIN: ULIF 020 11/12/13 SUD-LI-BN2 142) invests 0% in equity, 70–100% in debt and up to 30% in money market instruments, mutual funds and fixed deposits — Low to Medium risk. You choose the funds and allocation percentages at the proposal stage, with a minimum of 10% and a maximum of 100% per fund selected. The Income Fund is the default fund under the product.
